What Dr. Byrd-Olmstead Offers

Phone Consultations

Before our first appointment I offer a free 20 minute telephone consultation.  During the call I will listen to your concerns and ask you some questions about your situation. This way I can properly identify that I have the appropriate experience and resources to meet your needs.

People seek therapy for various reasons. To provide individualized solutions, Dr. Byrd-Olmstead offer one-on-one counseling services. Each session usually lasts for 50 minutes. The first one will focus on determining whether we should move forward with our partnership as therapist and client.

Once we have agreed to work together, we will likely conduct our sessions weekly. However, we may meet more or less frequently depending on your requests and current needs.

For organizational training and consultations, do not hesitate to get in touch with us. We provide trainings and consultations to the Greater San Francisco Bay Area and nationally, including:

Professional Fees

Dr. Byrd-Olmstead's fees depend on the services you need, and her rates are consistent with the other psychologists in the area. Payments are due at the time of service. For more information about Dr. Byrd-Olmstead's rates, you may contact her at (408) 409-5107.

Payment Methods

We accept cash, checks, and credit cards. However, we are not currently accepting any insurance plans. We will be happy to provide you with a monthly invoice should you wish to seek reimbursement on your own.
Please note that not all insurance carriers will refund expenses from an out-of-network provider.
